What is the Gitnerblog?  Well, it’s a blog written by me, Jess Gitner.  I am currently based out of Washington, DC, where I work as a Production Assistant at NPR. I’m also proud to be a contributing writer for Autostraddle.com and a former member of the Patagonia retail family. I graduated from Georgetown University in 2009 with a B.A. in Political Economy and American Musical Culture.

Gitnerblog began as a travel blog while I studied at the London School of Economics, but it has since evolved to become an outlet for my writing: mostly personal observations of life as I approach the frightening mid-twenties.

My interests include music, commuting via bike, gadgetry, public(ish) radio, craft beer, and Scandinavia.
